ONLY CONNECT PUBLISHING
IMPORTANT NOTE: For various nefarious and occult reasons the section links on the left don't work on this page only. I've put contact details and dropped a link to the contact page below. To go back to the home page click here. Sorry about that. Normal service will be resumed.
I formed Only Connect Publishing, a division of Only Connect, to distribute Gemini Four, a poetry anthology whose profits go to the charity Kids Company. Messengers Volume 1: Location, Location, Location, a signed, numbered limited edition of the first volume of an extended poem is the second publication. A further two volumes of Messengers and other poetry and prose are planned.

GEMINI FOUR
Poems by Ian Florance, Jane Hitchcot, Eleanor Nesbitt, Rowan Williams,
John-David Yule
Edited by Ian Florance and Eleanor Nesbitt.
The first volume of Gemini Poets appeared in 1972 when the contributors were in their late teens and early 20s. Gemini Four appears 39 years later: the contributors are now in their late 50s and early 60s. The world has changed profoundly and the poets themselves have led different lives and faced different challenges. They react to these in equally different ways – through formal and informal verse, wry humour and deeply felt thought. Yet this variety touches real concerns they have in common.
Gemini Four costs £9.99 plus postage and packing.
All profits from Gemini Four go to see www.kidsco.org.uk
MESSENGERS 1: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
Author: Ian Florance
Design: Catherine Dixon
Messengers 1 is the first volume of a three volume poem I have been working on for six years. It tells the story of Al, who is blown up on Paddington Station in London on his way to work and then travels across England, relives parts of his life and investigates a seemingly infinite building, led by a series of guides, on the way getting killed another couple of times. I've worked with Catherine Dixon, Senior Lecturer in Typography at Central St Martins College on the book and she has created an extraordinary example of the book-makers art - as much a piece of visual art as of writing.
Messengers 1 is published in a limited edition of 250, signed, numbered, specially bound copies. It will cost £49.95 plus postage and packing.
